Job Summary
The BI Analyst assists and supports creating and maintaining business intelligence tools and products including the design of dashboards, visualizations, data preparation and deployment. He/she will develop and document policies, processes and specifications for BI products supporting Analytics.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with business partners to define Business Intelligence requirements.
- Develop, analyze, and modify processes, data structures, and models.
- Create dashboards, reports or visualizations.
- Deploy solutions so they can be utilized by business partners.
- Create, document, disseminate and maintain Business Intelligence processes, best practices, style and deployment guides as well as project-specific documentation.
- Support release management tasks and timelines, and assist in tracking and communicating project status including new implementations or enhancements.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years related work experience.
- Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
- Strong proficiency with computer skills, including Microsoft Office, databases, and SQL
- Experience creating dashboards, reports and visualizations with
- Business Intelligence products such as Tableau or Power BI Significant experience with creating, documenting and communicating new processes, policies and specifications including exceptional organizational and presentation skills as well as outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Healthcare and/or health insurance experience
- Knowledge of internal Florida Blue data structure
General Physical Demands
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
- Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
